It is recommended that you take your child to the pediatrician regularly for growth and development checkups, as well as to receive the appropriate vaccinations. In addition, you should see the pediatrician if your child shows signs of illness, such as a fever, a persistent cough, abdominal pain, or changes in behavior.
During a pediatric visit, the doctor will perform a complete physical exam of your child, assess their growth and development, and answer any questions or concerns you may have. They may also order additional tests, such as blood tests or X-rays, if necessary.
