The intensive care unit is a specialized area that provides intensive medical care to patients with serious illnesses or injuries who require constant care and monitoring.
In our intensive care unit, we provide services such as mechanical ventilation, cardiac and respiratory monitoring, and intravenous medication administration. Our goal is to stabilize and improve the condition of critically ill patients.
Patients with serious illnesses or injuries, as well as those with cardiac, respiratory, or neurological problems, or complicated postoperative conditions, among others, may be admitted to the intensive care unit.
The length of stay in the intensive care unit can vary depending on the severity of the illness. Some patients may require only a few days of intensive care, while others may need weeks or even months of specialized care.
The intensive care unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, nurses specializing in intensive care, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and others, who are responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
